Its cold outside so I huddled by a heat vent looking out the window where a few birds are bouncing around the front yard. We have had so much frost that it looks like snow out there brrrrrrrr. The good thing about all this cold weather is at night the racoons are back looking for food which happens to be our garbage cans. I spend all night running from window to window trying to see want they are doing. Its hard work but its got to be done but I can sleep all day. The house has been decorated for Christmas so there is that tree that has all those things hanging down so they have to be knocked down to the floor. Its fun for me to do but Roy has to put them back on the tree, keeps him busy to. The sun has finally cleared the mountains so time to sun bathe bye for now.

Man it has been a long time since my last entry. So let see if I can get you up to date. As Sacha said we are in Hope, retired, so we spend a lot more time with our humans which is a good thing, but it some times cut into my naptime cause the male human is always bugging me. But for the main part of the day he is out in the garden and in the winter he's shoveling snow, which he hates. I always give him support by sitting in the bedroom window and watching. Boy it looks cold out there.
Also, in the winter he keeps the wood stove in the TV room stocked with wood. Boy it is warm in there - great sleeping conditions .
As you know Quimsby has crossed over the rainbow bridge but he didn't let me know he was leaving, so I looked for him for several days. But I heard the humans saying he had to cross because he was very sick and that he is not in pain no more.
With Quims gone there is his spot in bed available so I fought Sacha for it and won so I fight between the 2 humans for this area and win most of the time.
What's that I hear ? Birds!!!!!!

Hi there! I'm the new addition to the family. I was found wandering around a restaurant parking lot. Everyone who came to the restaurant would stop and pet me and I'd try and jump in their car, but they always closed the door before I could get in. Then these nice people came out of the restaurant and saw me and opened the door and let me in. They sure were nice - they talked to me and petted me and I decided I liked them a lot. I went for a short drive in their car and then they brought me into the house.
All of a sudden, everything changed - there were two more cats there. They sure weren't very nice to me - all that hissing and yowling!. I tried to be friendly but they kept growling at me. All I wanted was some loving! No such luck, at least not for a while. Now, they tolerate me, but barely. They really don't growl too much anymore, unless of course I'm someplace that I shouldn't be - but hey, I'm just a kitten just under a year old, so what do I know about being good?
One of the first things my new owners did was feed me. Boy, was I hungry, I ate a full can of food, and maybe could have eaten more, but I wasn't given any more. My little belly was full and I curled up on my new owner and fell asleep while she was petting me. Now they have to watch me carefully because after I eat my food, I eat my Brother's and Sister's food too. I'm not winning too many Brownie points, but I'm still learning that the food is always going to be there, not like before I was found.
Come back and visit me often because I just know that my owners are going to start adding pictures of me as I grow up as I'm really a handsome "boy".

Well, here I am again - a full-fledged member of this family. I am the fastest, sleekist, most affectionate black cat around here, let me tell you. I have my lap staked out every night - as soon as my human sits down, I'm on his lap and sound asleep before he realizes I'm there (at least I make believe I am asleep!) He's pretty tolerate tho', so I get away with it all the time.
I also have a stick that I am addicted to and as soon as my human is up, I go and sit by it so that he will play with me. If he doesn't do this immediately upon coming downstairs, I get under his feet and whine until he does. Sometimes he takes the stick away from me, but I pretend I don't notice and I go sit where the stick should be and look sad and mournful until he gets the stick down and plays with me. I think I missed my calling in life - I should have been an actor.
The food around here is pretty good, but I sure work up a hunger every day. I ensure that nothing goes to waste and I clean everyone's bowl. La Princessa doesn't like that too much because she likes to save her food so she can have a snack now and then, but I eat it anyways when she isn't looking. Between you and me, she's packed on a few pounds these past years and she doesn't need the extra food anyways. I try and make her exercise by chasing her around the house, but she'll turn and hiss at me if I chase her too much! Oh well, at least I am slim and trim!
Oops, gotta go - I see that Sacha heading for her food dish - I wonder if I missed a feeding??????
